STOP SEARCHING THROUGH EVERY LECTURE AND SLIDE DECK

Your Professor Gave You the Questions.
ClassLecture Helps You Find the Answers.

Instead of searching through lecture recordings, PowerPoints, PDFs, and notes one by one, let ClassLecture connect your professor’s study guide questions to the material from your course.

Find answers across your entire class

Search your lecture recordings, slides, PDFs, and notes together instead of opening each file and hunting for the answer yourself.

See exactly where the answer came from

Each answer can point you back to the supporting lecture, slide, or document so you can review the original material.

Know when your materials don’t have the answer

If your uploaded materials don’t contain enough information, ClassLecture makes the gap clear instead of pretending the answer was covered.

How do I get answers to my professor’s study guide?

Create a class, upload your course materials and your professor’s study guide, and wait for processing to finish. In class chat, select the materials you want to search and type: “Answer every question in [study guide name] using my uploaded course materials. Cite the sources for each answer.” Use the guide’s file name so ClassLecture can identify the right document.

Can ClassLecture answer questions using my PowerPoints and lecture recordings?

Yes. Upload PowerPoint files (.ppt or .pptx), text-based PDFs, Word documents, or notes. You can also upload audio and video lecture recordings or record a lecture in the app. Recordings become searchable transcripts after processing. Choose Notes, Lectures, or Both in class chat to control which materials it searches.

Where do the answers come from?

Answers come from the uploaded course materials you select in class chat—your lecture transcripts, PowerPoint slides, PDFs, notes, and other documents. ClassLecture uses those materials to answer your professor’s study guide questions and includes source citations you can review alongside the original material.

What happens if the answer isn’t in my course materials?

ClassLecture is designed to flag questions or parts of an answer that your reviewed materials don’t support. Use those gaps to decide what to ask your professor or which course materials to add. AI can still make mistakes, so check answers and citations before relying on them.

Can I upload a scanned or handwritten study guide?

Use a document with selectable text, such as a text-based PDF or Word file. Scanned and handwritten documents are not transcribed by the document upload flow. Clear text and complete course materials give the feature more useful evidence to work with.
